Digital Manipulation Challenge by Arwel
Ever seen other's work and wondered ‘how did they do that’?
Professional explanations are ok, but they don’t always show you how, easily!
We are all judges and we have slightly different views as to what’s best for a photo.
So, instead of critiquing others images, put ‘your money where mouth is’ and show us what you mean.
A choice of four images have been selected and are available from the club on your USB memory stick (or e-mailed to you by request).
These 4 images are, as they were on the camera, with nothing done to them.
Manipulate as you see fit, landscape, close up, building detail, reflection, enhance,
abstract,
mono etc.
No restrictions, no rules, so add elements of another image, sky, model, etc.
Be prepared to explain what you’ve done,
this is how we will learn new techniques.
Best done in Photoshop, showing the layers and effects, but not essential.
Not a demonstration of how it’s done, maybe a sequence of images showing the stages of development.
Hand in images by March 27th 2012, so images can be collated for
Club night on April 3rd 2012.
Each member who submits an image can explain what they did to create the image (5 mins max)
