Fullscreen Photo Viewer 1.9 ( as used with club digital projector ). This is better than Windows Picture Viewer in that it keeps the resolution as high as your monitor is set to, making your images look sharper.

Pictures to EXE (buyFor making Audio-Visuals. There is a limited free trial but this is about £32 or £50 delux to buy (digital slide show to music)

ProShow Gold y For making Audio-Visuals. This is about £70 to buy (digital slide show to music)

Gimphoto  a free and powerful photo editing program with similar features to Photoshop e.g. layers, masks, levels and more add-ons too.

Fotobounce  This is a photo organiser - which enables you to make albums, keep track of your images and add captions. This Free software is different from the rest because it has face-recognition. Some time is taken to scan the folders you decide to organise. When a photo is double-clicked containing a face, a tag should open allowing you to enter their name. After a short time Fotobounce will recognise faces (and give you the opertunity to correct if it gets it wrong).

Audacity (FREE audio editing )

CDex (FREE CD to MP3 audio )

Zoom Album Small picture book software (12 pages of images from 1 A4 sheet ).

I found no problem viewing O/S map and images with Firefox browser, but had to tick 'compatability view' under 'page' tab with Internet Explorer. You can scroll around the UK then look back in time by clicking on the yellow icons next to the towns to show the 'good old days'.
