Ruthin Camera Club was founded in 1986, with the aim of promoting and encouraging active interest in photography.  Although our name says we are a camera club, the emphasis is more on the techniques and art of photography, rather than technology of cameras.  We cater for those who use film, slides or digital, those who process their photos in a high street shop, a darkroom, or on a computer, and monochrome as well as colour. We meet on Tuesday evenings from September to April, and have a varied programme of events of interest to all abilities of photographer.

- Illustrated talks from the top photographers in North Wales and beyond.

-  Competitions, with sections for beginners and experts
